The Fisherman and His Wife is back!
Ten years ago Storybox Theatre toured this highly acclaimed show with over 260 performances in schools and theatres. Now it is back as The Fisherman in a new solo production by Rod Burnett using his amazing ingenuity and formidable storytelling skills with puppets. The ancient Grimm’s tale of the folly of greed will delight and enthral children and adults alike.
Storybox Theatre’s performances captivate the imagination and linger forever in the memory.

With a handful of beans and a heart full of courage, Jack sets off on a tall tale of high adventure.
This production by award winning Storybox Theatre remains faithful to the spirit of the original tale: a story of enchantment and magic, of cruelty and humour, of courage and ingenuity, and triumph over gigantic adversity.
Jack will surprise and delight children and adults alike.

Rod will be extremely busy touring Spain and then dashing over to France to teach for two weeks at the Institut International de la Marionettes.
