Storybox Theatre's 'Jack' is one of the most innovative performances to appear at this year's festival.
The reaction given by the young audience spoke for itself. By the end of the performance Rod Burnett had everyone participating in actions that I don't think even he anticipated.
'Fee fi fo fum. I smell the blood of an Englishman" the attentive audience chanted as Rod Burnett brought his well-crafted puppets to life.
The use of an irish bodhran and a harp acted as excellent accompaniment, keeping the pace fresh and flowing.
Storybox Theatre is an award winning company based out of Bristol, England.
Having performed all over the world it is nice to see a theatre company like Storybox making their way to the hearts of the children of Calgary.
