Storybox Theatre has a large touring commitment to schools. We tour one production a year. Starting in October and working through to June/July we will present around two hundred performances in this period. As a Bristol based company most of the schools touring programme extends in a circle from this city taking in Worcester, Cardiff, Salisbury, Swindon and Taunton.
The company has devised a unique blend of storytelling, live music and puppetry that appeals equally to adults and children. We do not patronise or talk down to our audiences and, because of this, the performances are totally engaging.
The shows are designed for the primary school age range. An audience of up to 150 is preferred. Larger groups can be accommodated, but for bigger schools we suggest two performances where possible.
We present spine tingling, magical theatre for children; a real stimulus for children's imagination and an inspiration for the creative teacher.
